The second official British original album of The Beatles, released in the UK on November 22, 1963. The album then topped the charts for 21 consecutive weeks, cementing its popularity and status. The enthusiasm of the fans became the news of Beatlemania and soon spread around the world. The second album, "With the Beatles," was released amid a string of hit singles, "From Me to You," "She Loves You," and "I Want to Hold You." It does not include the previous singles, but instead includes eight new original songs and six covers of Motown and R&B numbers. This "With the Beatles/Alternate Album Collection" includes all the albums in the latest stereo remixes on CD1, as well as six singles not included on the previous albums, and multi-track demixes. CDs 2 and 3 are divided into "Studio Sessions," based on studio outtakes, and "Alternate Versions," a collection of various mixes, for a total of 105 tracks on three CDs, each with its own concept. DISC1: THE ALTERNATE ALBUM: NEW STEREO REMIX / MULTITRACK STEREO DEMIX As an "alternate album", all 14 songs from the original album are included in two different remix versions with the latest edits. The latest stereo remix of the first 14 songs also includes 6 songs from the A and B sides of singles that were not included in the album. This album was released in mono and stereo, but in the 1960s, mono was the mainstream, and the original stereo was simply a 60s stereo with vocals and performances separated to the left and right, or a simple 4-track stereo. In this latest stereo remix, the lead vocals, chorus, and each instrument are separated and analyzed using the demix technology, which has been attracting attention in recent years, based on the multi-track sound source separated by AI sound source analysis, and remixed into a well-balanced, three-dimensional sound image. Specifically, the lead vocals are placed in the center, the chorus is split into left and right, and the guitar and drums are also converted into stereo, creating a modern, natural real stereo sound that was impossible in the 1960s. Also, as a famous anecdote, "She Loves You," which was released only in mono because the recording master at the time was discarded and could not be mixed in stereo, has been made into a real stereo sound, and the difference in sound due to the latest technology will truly make you feel like you are in a different era. The second half of the multi-track demix has a different stereo mix from the first half, and if you play it with headphones, you can hear the difference more clearly. DISC2: THE STUDIO SESSIONS 1 Studio session recordings that trace the album's production process are recorded in almost the order of recording at the time. Some of the sessions that have been released so far and some that have not been included in the official recordings are all included. The familiar previously released recordings and the takes that overlap with the official recordings are original edited recordings with different editing and mixes depending on the song, as well as improved sound quality. Also, many of the previously recorded sources were mono, but now they are recorded as real stereo sources using AI technology, and this is the first time that the entire studio session has been made into real stereo, making it the latest edited version.
